Child Advocacy Group Welcomes New Executive Director

ALBUQUERQUE, NM—New Mexico Voices for Children is pleased to welcome Gabrielle Uballez as its new executive director. Uballez is a seasoned social sector leader with over a decade of experience in organizational leadership, partnership development, program design, and racial equity. She most recently served as a program officer at Asset Funders Network, where she played a key role in advancing national and regional initiatives focused on racial and economic justice in philanthropy. She joins NM Voices on April 8, 2024.

GRANTS, NM – Who is Paul Hindemith? I don’t doubt that some of you are familiar with this musician- composer, and I have enjoyed learning about him from Leonard Bernstein. Tribute was paid to Mr. Hindemith with a “New York Philharmonic Young People’s Concert: The Genius of Paul Hindemith”, February 23, 1964. Once again, as every Friday afternoon at 4 p.m., The Cibola Arts Council has presented another concert in its music appreciation program.

City Council Approves Ordinance for Safe Haven Baby Box and Awards Wilson & Co. Design for Sakelares Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue

GRANTS, NM – The city council approved for the design for improvements to both Roosevelt Avenue from 4th Street to Iron and Sakelares Boulevard, the council also approved an ordinance for a Safe Haven Baby Box and another extension to the city charter advisory committee. Multiple individuals were appointed to various boards.
