ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Chris Madrid Jr., a Grants local, was recognized as Knight of the Year during this weekend’s New Mexico Knights of Columbus State Convention.Madrid was honored for his service and commitment through the organization.

GRANTS, N.M. – Local residents interested in birding, hiking or learning more about the area’s wildlife habitat are invited to join the Bureau of Land Management for a guided bird hike on the Narrows Rim Trail later this month.The hike is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, beginning at 9 a.m.
