MILAN, NM – Police Chief Carl Ustupski recently graduated from the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety.
A City of Grants Regular City Council Meeting was held on July 26. The meeting consisted of discussions surrounding budget reports, paving of roads, reappointments of two zoning and commission members, and discussion surrounding public safety. Arieanna Crowson - CC

Grants, NM – A Regular City Council Meeting was held on July 26.
The new dispatch room offers more space to employees. The desks move up and down allowing dispatchers to stand or sit, there are also blue lights which assist dispatchers in dark lighting. Pinehill Man Pleads Guilty to Rape

PINE HILL, N.M. – Leonard Yazzie, 41, of Pine Hill, New Mexico, and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, pleaded guilty in federal court to abusive sexual contact on July 20. The guilty plea follows an indictment by a federal grand jury in March.
