Citizen over the weekend. The bear was found dead on Highway 57 past the Village of San Rafael near the Bandera volcano trail system. The Citizen reached out to the New Mexico Forestry Division on this incident but did not hear back by deadline.

This week's Pet of the week is a sweet pup named Jellybean. She is a 4.5-month-old female that was brought to us by the Milan Animal Control Officer and looking for her forever home. She's playful, great with other dogs and very active. She has not been spayed yet but is scheduled at a later date.
