CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — With less than three weeks to go, the City of Grants is gearing up for a full day of red, white, and blue festivities this Fourth of July—and the Chamber of Commerce is calling on local residents, businesses, and organizations to join in the fun.

Man Sentenced to Prison for Voluntary Manslaughter

Cole Ray Shorty and Landen Toledo pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after the events that took place on May 27, 2022.According to court documents, Shorty and Toledo confronted the victim, John Doe at his place of residence to retrieve Shorty’s backpack.
