‘No Kings Day’ Protest Brings Dozens to Downtown Grants on Flag Day Demonstrators call for civic action, democracy, and accountability on June 14

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. — Nearly 100 people gathered in downtown Grants on Friday morning to take part in the national “No Kings Day” protest, a Flag Day demonstration focused on preserving democracy, defending civil liberties, and opposing authoritarianism.

Join a park ranger on a guided hike to see bats emerge from the Bat Cave at El Calderon. Bat Outflight Guided Hikes will kick off on June 20 & 21 at 7:30 pm each evening. All bat programs meet at the El Calderon parking area off NM Highway 53, about 20 miles south of Grants.
