Friday night high school football started full force last Friday as the Grants High School Pirate Varsity Football Team played up a level and traveled to Santa Fe to take on the 5-A Capital Jaguars who handily defeated the Pirates by a score of 57-6.

9u championship game was 9u Pirate team from grants vs 9u cannons from rio rancho. 9u pirates won Championship game. This baseball tournament had 12 teams total, with approximately 550 total people each day at the tournament. 12u championship game was 12u Hooligans Worthen vs 12u NM Fierce.
