BLUEWATER LAKE, N.M. – Fishing quieted down a bit at Bluewater Lake this week, with few angler reports and no photos submitted.Trout fishing was slow but overall ranked FAIR, with PowerBait producing only minimal bites.

The catfish bite remained strong at Bluewater Lake this week, with anglers finding success along the shoreline using raw shrimp and Carolina rigs. Multiple catches were reported over the weekend, including several channel catfish over 20 inches.
