After crossing the finish line first with a time of 16:18.91 at the state cross country tournament, Laguna- Acoma junior, Lucas Williams, was crowned state champion in the 2A 5,000-meter race.

Pirate Soccer Ends

Senior goalkeeper Adynn Knighton readies himself to kick the ball after successfully stopping a goal attempt at a recent game. Both Pirate soccer teams wrapped up their seasons last week. The GHS boys’soccer team ended up 1- 16, 0-8 while the lady Pirates ended their season 0-15-2, 0-8.

Pirate Volleyball Up-Date

The Lady Pirates volleyball team is in 8-12,1-5 after a 3-0 district loss to St. Pius 13-7, 6-0. Their next game will be November 2nd against Highland High School (1-15,0-4) in an away district game.
