Grants High School alum Isaac Gallegos has a storied baseball career. From playing with the local Pirates to collegiate fame with the University of New Mexico Lobos, the homegrown athlete has been drafted to the Atlanta Braves. Gallegos was a 16th Round pick, coming in at 489 in the draft. He stands 6-foot, 3-inches tall and weighs 215 pounds. The athlete was born in 2002 and is a Junior at UNM. As the summer temps pick up the GHS Boys’ Basketball team has been bringing up the heat on the hard floor as they have been participating in summer camps across the state.
