Pirates to State Tournament as Fourth Seed

The Pirates slugged their way this season to an 18-8, 6-2 record that allowed them to garner a fourth seed in the New Mexico Activates Association state baseball tournament. They will host the Bloomfield Bobcats (14-11, 5-5) this weekend, starting Friday, May 6 at 5 pm.

Hawks Flying High

April brings wind and a wind down of baseball and softball season for local teams they enter the last month of play. The Laguna-Acoma Hawks (11-3) continue to chalk up wins and most recently completed two double headers two days apart and went 3-1.
