The new norm: Rivers!

I’ve always loved rivers, especially slow and narrow ones that I can try to catch fish from. I’m by no means an expert on them and one may think I’m all wet with this idea, but here are a few: First place in my heart is the Pecos River near Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Halloween looms on the horizon and this is a good time to consider one of its iconic figures – cats. Humans have cohabitated with felines for 12,000 year and maybe longer. All domestic cats are descended from a Middle Eastern wildcat, Felis sylvestris, which literally means "cat of the woods.

Currently we are at 403 cases of COVID-19 cases in Cibola County, N.M. and the death toll is at 20. We have been home-bound as much as sanity allows lately.

Seboyeta cleanup Dear Editor; The history of Seboyeta is as interesting as the beauty of this quaint New Mexico community. Seboyeta was founded in 1746 by Padre Juan Menchero. I am always completely captivated by this area with its multiple peaks and stunning scenery.
