The new norm: ...my part!

My part is a two-part story. Let’s start part one: Evelyn and I decided a few weeks ago to escape for a couple days and go fishing. We would go to our son-in-law’s property in Horca, Colorado, 17 miles west of Antonito. The travel restrictions for Colorado were lifted at that time.

COVID-19 has presented a serious challenge to Cibola County. The infrastructure wasn’t where it needed to be to deal with the massive increase of internet usage, and it certainly wasn’t set up to help the people in especially rural areas. Because of this, many of Cibola’s students were left behind.
