The Grants High School Pirates lost a close game last week on the road to district rival, the Taos Tigers, 30-28. However, the bigger loss may be that senior quarterback Tristin Fernandez sustained a serious knee injury in that game and will not play this Friday against Moriarty in another tough district matchup.
