ALBUQUERQE, NM - New Mexico United is thrilled to announce the extension of Head Coach Eric Quill’s contract for an additional two years. The extension keeps Quill in-place as Head Coach through the conclusion of the 20026 USL Championship season.

New Mexico United today announced that Dayonn Harris will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after suffering an ACL tear during a recent training session.Since his arrival from Tampa Bay in the offseason, Harris has been a force on and off the pitch.

The Grants High School Pirate football team is fresh off a dominating scrimmage this past week against Kirtland Central, and Laguna-Acoma are more than ready for their season opener against the Miyamura Patriots this Friday.

Aggies to Host Double Header

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State Aggies are set to play the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in a doubleheader next month on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. The Naranjeros de Hermosillo are a professional team from Mexico who play in the Mexican Pacific League.

Athlete of the Week

This week's Athlete of the Week is Tristin Fernandez of the Grants High School football team for being named the starting quarterback for the Pirates season opener this Friday against the Miyamura Patriots.

Scott Wins Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week

DALLAS – Junior Meredith Scott becomes the first Aggie to win Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week in the 2024 season. This is Scott's second time winning a Conference USA Award in her career.Scott is coming off a spectacular week scoring two goals in the first two games of the 2024 season.

The Grants High School Pirates football team will host a scrimmage this upcoming Thursday at 5:00 at the Port of the Pirates where they will host district rival the Kirtland Central Broncos and the neighboring Laguna- Acoma Hawks.
