 This week's Athlete of the Week is John Paul Miller, a senior on the Grants High School Cross-Country Team. Miller has been a pillar of leadership and performance for the Pirates for the past four years and recently was the top performer at a recent meet for the Pirates.

The Pirates had a challenging game with the Demons and when the Friday night lights turned off, the Demons won the night with a 34-12 victory over the Pirates. Next up for the Pirates will be a road trip to Espanola Valley (3-0).

Dexter Demonizes Pirates 34-12

A challenging night for the Grants High School Pirates in their second home game of the season at the 3-A Dexter Demons rolled into town last Friday and in a penalty heavy game for both teams the Demons came out on top at the end of the night by a score of 34-12.
