I have always loved Halloween, and I love it now more than ever. I love to get in costume and have fun with other people in costume. People seem freer when they are dressed in different clothes. They seem to have a little more fun.

Light in the Darkness

Every single person dealing with depression has good and bad days. For me those bad days seem to seep into good days within seconds. I can wake up feeling good and ready for the day, but it’s as if almost a switch goes off in my brain and suddenly I can’t do anything. I feel stuck.

Travels in Grants

Dark cold mornings-so soon! But the rabbitbrush blossoms told me that it was coming a few weeks ago, even if I wanted to ignore it. Time to winterize the house and cars. Bring out the coats and sweaters and fire wood. Take in the plants. Watch the last flocks of birds assembling to go down South.

It’s no secret that I love dogs. I love dogs, and I don’t have one right now because, traveling as much as my husband, Peter, and I do, having a dog makes no sense. We know this. We have discussed this. There are times I would like to have a dog so much it makes my heart hurt.
