Dear Editor, My family and I would like to thank Grants Ambulance, Fire Department, Cibola County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt and continued service to my Mother Gloria Jenkins over these many years for assisting her in her hospital visits. You are all unsung heroes and we appreciate you!

I have had high expectations placed on me all my life. I was always expected to be the best, to be the smartest. In first grade, I successfully tested into the Gifted and Talented Education program. I was ecstatic and thought that this meant I was smart, one of the smartest people at my school.
