A lovely summer morning at the Farmer's Market was interrupted by a man approaching the prison recruitment booth. He was slender, simply dressed, with a sling shot tucked under the top of his shirt. He seemed battered by life's events and decisions but was still standing. 'Please call the police.

Twenty-two years ago, on September 11th, multiple commercial airplanes were hijacked by terrorists connected with the Al Qaeda. At 8:45 a.m. one of the jets crashed into the first of the twin towers, World Trade Center. Several floors were badly affected by the crash, burning near the 80th floor.

All of us have gone through life hearing that life isn’t easy. The thing that I have struggled with a lot is trying to find the meaning of why I am here and what is keeping me here. I have the belief that everyone has their own sense of purpose and meaning. No one is here to do the same thing.
