Hello Cibola community! It is so nice to write to you again. Since we last “spoke,” I have spent most of my time at New Mexico State University- Main Campus in Las Cruces, pursuing a major in Communication, a minor in Journalism, and a second minor in Social Media Management.

Yesterday wasn’t the best day. I don’t like to complain and, the truth is, I have very little to complain about. Still, yesterday was not the best day. I woke with a stomachache. I’d gone to bed with a stomachache, and this is not terribly unusual.

Memorial Day 2023 Dear editor, New Mexico - and the Northwest part of the state in particular - holds a long and proud military history. Gallup is known as the most patriotic small town in America, and we are blessed to be home to a large population of military veterans.

It’s about to be June. Can you believe it? I can’t. Where did this month go? My eldest niece just celebrated her first prom, my youngest niece just graduated from prekindergarten. Where did the time go? May has 31 days. So, if one day is 24 hours. One hour is sixty minutes.
