Pirates are on a 2-0 run after defeating the Hope Huskies two weeks ago , and now they defeated the Kirtland Broncos, by 12 points, in a high scoring game on the road. “We really wanted to establish the run game to give our passing game a chance to work,” said Grants High School head coach Steve Brown.

NMAA Board Met to Disciuss leadership, fees, and procedures for football

Association’s Board of Directors met in regular session on Wednesday, September 20th at 9am in the NMAA Hall of Pride and Honor. Executive Director Sally Marquez gave her Director's Report which included information regarding the 2023 NMAA/NMADA Fall Conference, the fall sports season, and an introduction of two new staff members.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - New Mexico United rallied from behind to soundly best Eastern Conference foe Indy Eleven on Friday night, winning by a 3-2 margin in front of 8,527 fans and moving to within three points of playoff positioning in the West. The match was delayed by 53 minutes, due to lightning in the area.

The Grants High School Pirates went on the road and took on the Moriarty Pintos (4-0),who are ranked 4th in 4A, and lost by a score of 21-13. The Pirates were first to score after a fumble recovery by Julian Padilla led to a quarterback Deandre Chavez pass to wide receiver Deandre Ortega for a Pirate touchdown and extra point, 7-0.
