This week's Athlete of the Week is Estevan Barela who knocked in the winning run against Belen High School last week in a tough district baseball game where the Pirates won 3-2. Barela also pitched a pheromonal game against Belen where he had 13 strikeouts.

The Grants High School Boys’ Baseball Team played a textbook game, scoring a quick run in the first inning however, after a great defense by both teams at the bottom of the fifth-inning, errors plagued the Pirates allowing for St. Pius to score three runs making the score 3-1.
