Ilene Nadine Chavez, 50, of Acoma, New Mexico began her journey home November 13, 2020. Ilene was known to us all as a loving, mother, grandmother sister, auntie, cousin and friend. The list could go on as she was a major part of our lives.

Our beloved George went home to be with God on Saturday October 10, 2020 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Born in Milan, New Mexico in 1962, he attended Grants High School. He served In the Army and was a HVAC and pipefitter by trade.

Melecio ‘Pat’ Salazar Jr., age 44, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was born in Grants, New Mexico on October 18, 1976, to Melecio and Priscilla Salazar, Sr. A visitation was held Tuesday, November 17, 2020, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Jessie Huff Griffey, age 94, died on Monday November 9, 2020 attended by her son in her home in Grants, New Mexico. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and current restrictions in place in N.M. services will be scheduled at the First Baptist Church in Grants, N.M. at a later date.

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Rufina Ulibarri 91 of Grants, New Mexico were held on October 30, 2020 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Grants Memorial Park. Rufinia was born on October 7, 1929 in Van Houten, N.M. and she passed away on October 27, 2020 in Grants, N.M.

Joe Richard Diaz, born April 14, 1942, in San Rafael, New Mexico, has been reunited with his heavenly Father and loving wife on October 26, 2020 surrounded by all his children. Services were held in Yuma, Arizona. Joe was a very loving, supportive, dependable and hardworking man.

Funeral services for Michael A. LaBelle, 31, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020. A private family viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Compassion Mortuary. Rosary will be held at 10:15 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church.

Geraldine Ann Pedro Valdo Gaska, born March 10, 1953 passed away on October 30, 2020. A private service will be held for the immediate family. She will be laid to rest in McCartys, New Mexico. Geri was a lifelong resident of Acoma Pueblo.
