Lady Pirates ‘Set Sail’ to state

GRANTS, N.M. – The Grants High School lady Pirates are one step closer to their dream of making it to The Pit. The lady Pirates suffered a shattering loss to the St. Pius X Sartans on Feb. 26 in the semi-final round of the district tournament. The 49-40 loss may have hurt, but the lady Pirates 5-3 district record allowed the lady Pirates the 11th seed.
