Matthew Jacob Lujan, 39, a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Rosary and memorial will be held at Rivera Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2nd at 6 p.m. Mass will be held Friday, September 3 at 10 a.m. at San Isidro Church on Agua Fria Street. Burial will follow at San Jose Catholic Cemetery in La Cieniga. Reception to follow, location given upon request.

Estelle Sims-Juteau passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 93. A public mass in her honor will be held at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Grants, N.M. at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 17. A graveside service will follow.

Henry was born in Grants, New Mexico on December 16, 1979, and passed away on August 30, 2021. The services for Henry A Mondragon Jr will be on September 8, 2021 at St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church in Grants. Viewing will take place at 9:30 a, the Rosary at 10 am, and Mass at 10:30 am. The interment will begin 11 am at Grants Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Post 3221 in Grants.

Salvador Manuel Chavez age 78 of Grants, NM born January 18, 1943, passed away on August 29, 2021. Rosary will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday September 7, 2021, with the mass following at 10 am at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, NM.

Josie Mills (née ‘Pepa’ Gallegos) was born in San Rafael, NM on September 20, 1937 to Pedro and Francisquita (Murrietta) Gallegos. She died on August 24, 2021 at the age of 83 after a brief illness. A Rosary (9:30am) and Mass (10:00am) will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at San Rafael Catholic Church followed by a private family celebration of life.

Jose (Fred) Gonzales, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, passed to his spiritual life at home surrounded by family on August 26, 2021. Viewing, Rosary and Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 3, starting at 9:15 am, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, NM followed by interment at Grants Memorial Park. VFW Post #3221 will provide military honors. A reception will follow at Knights of Columbus Hall.

Anastacio “Rick” Duran, age 63, of Rogers, Arkansas was born in Grants, New Mexico, on October 10, 1957. Anastacio passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2021. Services will be held on Wednesday the 25th in Arkansas.

Jacqueline Dean Guthrie, born April 5, 1944 passed away on June 25, 2021. Jackie requested cremation. A grave site placement of her and Raymond’s ashes at the Grants Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Friends and Family will be notified and are welcome to attend.

Raul T. Martinez, 62, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away on October 22, 2020. A priest from St. Teresa’s Church in Grants will give a grave side service to celebrate the life of Raul on his birthday, August 13, 2021, at 11 a.m.

Varna (Massengale) Lamance age 90 passed away peacefully at her home in Los Lunas, New Mexico on July 15, 2021. Services will be held August 14, 2021, at Pie Town Baptist Church at 1:00. The church is located on 35 Festival Lane, Pie Town, New Mexico 87827
