Janene Pena passed away on June 25, 2021at the age of 62 years old. Services will be held at St Teresa of Avila Catholic church in Grants at lpm on Wednesday June 30.

Maria Flora Lucero Emerson entered into eternal life on June 26. She died peacefully at her home in Grants, surrounded by her family, after handling her Parkinson’s disease with grace for many years. Flora spent over 70 years in prayer and service at St. Teresa de Avila church in Grants, where her Memorial Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021 beginning at 9:30 am, with Father John Paul Sauter officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will follow at Grants Memorial Park.

Tony Ronald Lucero, 68, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico, born on September 14, 1952, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, lived in Pateca, New Mexico, passed away on June 16, 2021. Tony was a member of the Milan Baptist Church. He attended Grants High School, played football and basketball. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to go elk hunting and fishing and going to the casino with his wife. He retired after 35 years from the Department of Federal Service and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2008. He then was employed by the Pueblo of Isleta.

Abel Richard “Rick” Marez, age 64 of Galena, passed away at 2:33 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin, MO following an illness. Rick was born in Anaconda, NM to parents Louis G.

Leticia Viviana Fonseca went to be with Jesus on June 1, 2021. She lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her son Lazaro.

Clarence L. Marquez (Clinks), 62, of Los Lunas passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2021. He was born and raised in Grants, New Mexico and moved to Los Lunas in 1987. He married the love of his life, Beatrice, on February 4, 1978. He worked at Aristech Acrylics for 29 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where he was a devoted Catholic. Clarence went to school for paint and body what he enjoyed doing during his spare time for many years. His favorite thing in the world was spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Michelle Marie Semeraro passed away on June 4, 2021 at her home in Grants, New Mexico. She is 56 years of age.

Robert Jordan III, age 78 of Rio Rancho, NM passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021. He is a former officer with Rio Rancho Police Department and Veteran of the US Navy of 22 years.
